Our Story

It Started With One Home and a Vision for Dignity

Tiny House Homes was born from a simple yet powerful belief: every family deserves more than shelter-they deserve stability, dignity, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

What began as a grassroots effort to support displaced families has grown into a movement dedicated to transforming how communities recover, thrive, and rise together.

In the wake of recurring natural disasters and ongoing housing crises, our founders recognized a critical gap between temporary relief and long-term recovery.

That gap became our mission!
creating sustainable housing solutions and building ecosystems of support around every home we provide.

From Construction Sites to Community Impact

Nigel Salazar spent years in the construction industry, building homes that were functional—but not always transformational. After witnessing the devastation of natural disasters and the slow response to housing needs, he knew something had to change.

Driven by compassion and equipped with technical expertise, Nigel transitioned from builder to visionary nonprofit leader. He assembled a team of architects, social workers, and community organizers to create housing solutions that go beyond shelter—solutions that restore dignity, empower families, and rebuild lives.
